Planning, budgeting and forecasting (PBF)



Business transparency asks for organizations to deliver the right information, in the right format at the right time. Understanding past performance and translating that insight into forward-looking targets to align business results with the corporate strategy is key to driving shareholder value. The challenge is an effective and efficient budgeting process, directed to the business strategy and attuned to the organization.

Within this area of expertise we focus on:
  • Streamlining and redesign of the PBF process for large and medium-sized companies.
  • Alignment of (revised) PBF process with deployed software (going from spreadsheet-based solutions to dedicated PBF solutions).
  • Client adoption of CFO-Planner, a standardized "out of the box” PBF solution, developed by CFObelux for small to medium-sized companies.
  • Outsourcing of preparation, production and analysis of PBF reporting using CFO-Planner or tailor-made solutions.
  • Implementation of new PBF tools (SAP BPC, Clarity 7) is realized by our FRT (Financial Reporting Tools) team members with assistance of our FRP (Financial Reporting Process) team members.
The collaboration with the CFO Belux team during the implementation and development of OutlookSoft CPM is running very efficiently because they are able to translate their consolidation and reporting know-how into a very useful and clear product, from input schedule through control report to output schedule.
